In the shrinking world of the globalise business, the ability to speak Chinese can make a substantial difference to young people’s career prospects; definitely to increase their value in the international job market. Chinese Language skills are worth investing in school and children. Because of the dramatic acceleration of the economic growth in Mainland China, the Chinese language has become increasingly popular worldwide. The UK examination Board has been working with the Chinese to develop a system to encourage students to learn Chinese and take the examinations.

The Manchester Chinese Centre is a Charity organization based in Manchester; we specialised in teaching the Chinese language and Chinese Cultural studies. We are working with China and Manchester City Council closely.
We can offer Chinese Culture Workshops: Chinese Music, Song, Poetry, Calligraphy, Paper Craft, Lantern, Dance, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Fun of Chinese Characters and “Fun of Chinese Numbers for schools”, community Centre, Youth club and organisations. Also, we can provide teachers to teach Chinese languages in your school or organisation. This will provide you an opportunity to introduce the Chinese language for your school or organisation in the most effective way and minimise the cost.
We provide all the teaching materials and monitor the teacher through our programme planning; this includes Chinese Culture study. Most importantly, our Chinese consultants will work closely with your school, checking all the teachers’ work and review all the progresses of your students regularly. Make sure your students are in the right direction and update our teachers with ongoing training.
The Chinese and English language Exchange Corner was established in our Centre, it provides an opportunity for our students to practice speaking Chinese; also students gain work experience as an English teacher and blossom in their confidence. All ours lesson are carefully tailored to meet the unique requirements of people in need of Chinese language and IT.
In the near future, it is essential to develop Exchange Student Programmes between your school and a school in China or teach English in China during the summer holiday. Academic Chinese Language
The Chinese Language Course is in the British National Curriculum subjects. The students have to study two – four years before being allowed to enter for the GCSE Chinese Examination.
The GCSE Examination will include as following:
- Paper 1. Listening and Responding.
- Paper 2. Speaking
- Paper 3. Reading and Responding
- Paper 4. Writing
A level unit 1 and unit 2 Chinese Language Examination is available in mainstream school or at our supplementary school in both Saturday and Sunday classes. More information please sees supplementary school section or contacts our Centre.
