Partnership Courses with Workers’ Educational Association has been playing a very important role in our Centre. Here, adult learners can take their first steps to learning and ultimately speaking the English Language. The following courses are available by WEA: ESOL English, IT Computer Skills, Life in UK citizenship test, Finance Course, Community Interpreting Course. All learners are able to take part in the national ESOL English examination through WEA (Workers’ Educational Association).

Our adult courses are not only providing lessons; we also form opportunities to meet new friends with other community voluntary groups. The one to one mentoring could foster relationships and environments so learners can naturally pick up the language. The friendship aspect of the mentoring is important, and our mentors treat the learner as equals and leaning partners; especially in our English Corner. We put a particular emphasis on life skills or positive respect, generosity, a spirit of service, which could help our learners feel less insolated.

Childcare available while you learn
Our next door neighbor Barnardor has crèches to support learners who have childcare needs. The Crèches offer safe and secure settings where children's individual needs are met.
